Introduction
The team led by Gong Xiaofeng, Specially-Appointed Professor, School of Government, Shenzhen University, relying on the postdoctoral research station of journalism and communication at the School of Communication, Shenzhen University, is looking for postdoctoral fellows from home and abroad.
I. Team Leader Profile
Gong Xiaofeng, Specially-Appointed Professor, Doctor of Economics, Dean of Institute of Emerging Industries in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Shenzhen University, Arbitrator of China International Trade Arbitration Commission, Adjunct Professor of Renmin University of China, previously served as Vice President of CCID Research Institute of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (founder of the CCID Research Department), Vice Mayor of Hohhot (temporary), Director of International Economic and Technological Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Party Secretary and Director of Department of Industry and Information Technology in Hebei Province, etc. He is a member of the drafting group of theOutline of the National Medium and Long Term Scientific and Technological Development Plan (2006-2020), and has participated in a large number of national and provincial planning policy research activities, presided over dozens of various projects (including NSSFC projects), and published or participated in the editing of more than 10 books and dozens of articles. He is a visiting scholar at the EU headquarters and has lectured on more than 100 occasions in Hong Kong and other places. Research and teaching interests: industrial policy, industrial economy, world economy.
II. Positions
To further absorb high-level talents to enrich the scientific research forces, the team plans to recruit long-term postdoctoral fellows from home and abroad, including but not limited to the following professional backgrounds: economics, management, political science, sociology, journalism and communication, law and other majors that meet the project requirements of the cooperative supervisors. Research interests include:
1. Research on public policies for the development of emerging industries in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area; 2. Policy research on orderly industrial transfer and structural adjustment under the background of “dual cycle”; 3. Research on the path and policy of coordination and integration of innovation chain, industrial chain, capital chain and talent chain in the world’s major bay areas; 4. Policy research on the energy storage industry in the world’s major developed countries; 5. Positioning and policy research of basic research and applied research in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
3. Application Requirements
1. The applicant shall be a researcher under the age of 35 who has obtained a doctoral degree for less than 3 years, and cannot apply for postdoctoral research in the mobile station of the same first-level discipline of the doctoral institution.
2. The applicant shall be engaged in postdoctoral research on a full-time basis (anyone in service is not allowed to apply, including in-service/off-job).
3. The applicant shall have strong scientific research and innovation ability and teamwork spirit.
4. The applicant shall have good academic ethics and rigorous scientific attitude, and be in good health and able to meet the requirements of the post.
5. The applicant shall have published high-level research papers in peer-reviewed journals.
IV. Employment Benefits
Shenzhen University (General) Postdoctoral Fellow’s comprehensive annual salary is about 330,000 yuan.
1. The provincial and municipal governments provide 180,000 yuan peryearas living allowance for each eligible postdoctoral fellow, with the total amount not exceeding 360,000 yuan.
2. The university provides a comprehensive annual salary of about 150,000 yuan.
3. An eligible postdoctoral fellow can apply for professional and technical qualifications.
4. An excellent postdoctoral fellow who conforms to the university’s policies can apply for teaching position.
5. A postdoctoral fellow can apply for research project funding at all levels as the person in charge during the station.
6. A postdoctoral fellow can voluntarily settle down in Shenzhen after entering the station.
7. Shenzhen will grant 300,000 yuan to each outbound postdoctoral fellow for research investment or pre-start-up expenses.
8. If there is any adjustment of the postdoctoral funding policy, the latest document shall prevail.
V. Job Responsibilities
1. Jointly undertake important scientific research projects with the co-supervisor, and complete the scientific research tasks during the postdoctoral station as planned.
2. Assist the team leader to carry out research projects and research team building work.
3. Meet the requirements of the university on outbound postdoctoral fellows.
